Trimless Edge Channel Letters
Trimless edge channel letters (sometimes referred to as borderless, letterforms, or just trimless) are made without trim cap. Trimless edge letters can be fabricated smaller and with more detail than trim cap letters. The "clean" look of trimless edge channel letters makes a big difference!

Some Challenges with Trim Cap
gaps between return and face difficult to alleviate
wavy border
trim cap color doesn't match return and can be difficult to paint
trim cap channels large amounts of water down the inside of the channel letter creating problems with dirty faces and mold growth
